This little box, although small, does an amazing job of keeping a small confined space clean and clear. It does this through an extremely simple mechanism: it works on the same principal as undergravel or sponge filters. Air is bubbled under the intake; this forces water up the intake pipe and into the box. The water level in the breeder box gets higher forcing some water back out of it through an outflow. It's really that simple.
