No need to add water to the food - but do ensure your pet always has access to drinking water.

Puppies, pregnant & nursing females- feed approx. double the amount indicated over 2-3 servings per day.
Just store in a cool dry place. Each pouch should be used or refrigerated within 10 days of opening.
