The primary functions of pH Buffers are to resist pH-Drop (acidification), and to hold the pH at a given target pH.
This buffer stabiliser sets freshwater at a pH of 7.0, and can be used with algae eaters, silver dollars, most tetras and loaches, and plecostomus fish. A 8.8oz jar can treat up to 1,900 litres of water.
